Watch collecting has definitely changed over the years! Never would have seen something like this spin out of control many moons ago. Variation is always present...it's just a factor of how powerful your loupe is.

Not to stoke the fire, but saw this pop up recently:

It's just a disk that is pressed on like a hand, so yes if not pressed on hard enough it can fall off...

That's clearly the Earth and not the Moon

To be fair, that QC issue is pretty rare (assuming it's bad QC). In any case, that's what warranty is for.

Surprisingly I just got the message to pick up the Snoopy today.

Before dropping it off at OB 15 Jul:

After pick up just now 26 Jul:

So it took 11 days for the dial replacement.
Anyway hope others find this useful!

That'll do, Omega, that'll do.

Nicely done.

Just another thing to add, I always thought the missing lines dial looked a bit washed out and didn’t understand till this thread came up.

The replacement dial looks better to the naked eye as the other outlines are slightly thicker.

Did you get the original dial back?

No, I didn’t get the original dial back.
Didn’t expect to either especially with @Archer confirming it earlier.

I as well. It's just not that big of a deal to me. Mine is just like yours.

Predictions on whether this dial quality control error will fetch a premium for collectors in the future? Collectors obsess over serifs on fonts, so for some entire details missing.....

I do think several decades from now, these "error" dials will fetch for at least a tiny premium. Personally, I'd keep my "error" dial.

These are Omegas not Rolexes.

If a 220 bezel (which was a huge and obvious error with limited availability) has no premium after all this time, then a few missing lines on Snoopy is likely to be a detraction in future sales not an attraction.

If you’re cool with it, keep the defective dial - but don’t expect it to be a money spinner down the line (unless the Rolex fanboys start buying Snoopy Speedmasters)

We'll find out together 😀

Premium for missing lines ? What's cool about that. I think the best Premium you might get is if Omega discontinue the watch soon (Oct 25) because if they do not, i think in 2026 the price will go below retail just like ED321.

By the way the US Omega website is listing the Snoopy under wish list, this is a recent development but I do not really know if it is an indicator of the watch being phased out.

I find the stars are better defined in the “buttons” version. The font is semi bold over bold and Snoopy’s feet have a different look to them due to the missing line that is quite distinct now to me when looking at other snoopies.

Appreciate you have replaced your dial but keen to keep mine as is personally as I find it cool 😎
Doubt I will ever sell mine too so not too bothered re: price / Omega discontinuing the model etc.

Ask numismatists why they like three legged buffalos, or missing stars, or absent mint marks.
