Thanks for the pics OP 👍

I really dig these blue hands and blue bezel... but man, do I hate this silly dog 🤦
Controversial opinion, I know, but it really ruins the balance and purity of the dial IMHO.

Them's fightin' words around here, ET.

I wear my CK2998 blue panda on a blue Omega Cordura strap and DP buckle. I get the blue and silver vibe, along with a ceramic bezel, without the distraction of the cartoon hound. And a true LE of 2998 pcs. But right now everyone wants to jump on the Snoopy train. So it goes.

I like the Snoopy much more than the A11. Hopefully in another two years one will be available to purchase at retail...

Yeah, the problem is that the nearest boutique is about 250 miles away. And I'm not interested in giving Omega a $5000 no-interest loan for a year or two. But we'll see...

boutiques accepted deposits with credit cards. I placed mine very easily over the phone, so if you get in contact with them you can totally solve this issue.
Regarding the “no-interest loan”, it’s the price you pay to get the ticked for the exclusive party.
If you see it in this way... maybe it would be more acceptable 😉
Anyway, I agree it’s not optimal, but this is the game at the moment.

Yeah, that's why I'm hoping the craze dies down after a year. If the OB said "Yeah, you can get it, but it'll be 6 weeks." I wouldn't mind so much. Heck, I waited nine months for my RGM in my profile pic. But it sounds like a) they're not taking any more deposits and b) it's going to be some time in 22 or 23 before you would take delivery.

I mean, if you could buy this exact watch w/o the Snoopy and a plain old sapphire back to show the movement I'd still love it. And it that watch cost 2k less then I might love it even more...

...but it ain't happening anytime soon.

I’m now almost 8 mos in on my $7k deposit. While I was one of the first depositors, Omega changed the rules and now I have no idea when I’ll get my watch. Still want the piece. Sucks but that’s the price of admission.

Ugh! 😡 That's the kind of stuff I'm worried about. If I lose out because they stop making them in 3 years while demand is still high, well, I'll live. I missed the original Snoopy and the Alaska Project, too

Can you explain what are the rules that have been changed?
thanks

How is possible to miss it if the piece is guaranteed by the OB?
It’s just a matter of time.
They told me my watch is coming with 100% confidence.
The only question is when.

As I mentioned above, I'm not giving Omega a huge deposit for an unknown amount of time that will probably be several years, to get a watch. And "today" they say that "everyone will get a watch" implying that they'll keep making them as long as people keep ordering them. But 6 or 12 or 18 months from now they could change their mind and give a pre-order stop date.

The guarantee from the OB doesn't mean much. Omega could change their rules (or have the rules changed on them-maybe United Features Syndicate gets bought by Rolex fans?) and the OB will be very apologetic as they cut you a check for your deposit refund.

Yup. They are coming. Congrats to those who've received theirs.
