I tried to purchase the micro adjust clasp from lakeside empson haig . And was told phone me back never did when I eventually got somebody else to deal with was told omega will not supply parts . To be fitted independently. And do not like the watch changed from original. Eventually found a AD who was helpful and have ordered same part as yourself. After a lot of query’s. Arrives in two weeks time £97 inc postage. Paul

Oh, forgot to say. You can only fit these clasps if you have the later screw type link pins on the bracelet. If you have an earlier watch with push fit link pins, I understand you need to also but conversion links for each side of the watch. I'm sorry but I don't know the part numbers for those and I think they are not as easy to do as the screw pin links.

Wish I had dealt with the same assistant as you! All depends who you get to deal with. Paul

Yes, service at that place can be hit and miss but it shouldn’t be. I think the person I dealt with (Georgina) was related to one of the directors. Only a few months ago I called in there to look at rubber straps for my SMPc. I was interested in the blue rubber one as fitted to the very latest wave dial ones and asked whether they would fit the previous version. The youngish male assistant said he didn’t know but would find out later and phone me. He never did and when I phoned back the next day I spoke to a female who apologised, made enquiries and phoned me back within 10 minutes. She told me the price of the strap and clasp but told me that unfortunately, she had been advised that it wouldn’t fit my SMPc.

Hi
Earlier today I received my new 212.30.41.20.03.001 SMPc 300M. I removed two full size links and it fitted perfectly. Just now, I was fiddling with the dive extension and when I put it back into the normal position, the bracelet was loose. A lot looser than before I opened the dive extension. It looks like it could now do with a couple of the very smallest links removing. I’ve checked and double checked and I can see that there’s no other way of snapping the dive extension back into place so why would that happen? Or am I just going mad?

This brings me on to my next question - the micro adjustable clasp. Looking around, a clasp with 6 positions of micro adjustment can be fitted. I think it’s for the Planet Ocean. Part number 117STZ001154. Because of its length, some links need removing but some have commented that the clasp is wider that the original bracelet. Others have commented that another clasp is nearer to the original size clasp although it only has 3 micro adjustment positions, which should be enough for me - if it definately fits! Part number for that is 117STZ004666.

Are there any SMPc owners on here or general experts that have either fitted one of these micro adjustable clasps to a SMPc 300M or can possibly offer me some advice or confirm that the 4666 clasp will fit? Thanks.

Thanks for replying. I asked the same question recently and got the same reply I think the new rubber strap is 21 mm. I look forward to receiving my micro adjust clasp should make the watch even better. I am surprised omega don’t make a rubber strap for this model . As they do for the Planet Ocean.

At least you got sorted. Wow some bad reviews for Empson Haig. I went with Beaverbrooks (Omega Boutique) in Westfield Stratford and spoke with a very helpful lady called Kirby. Who called me several times and left voicemail messages to keep me updated on her progress. I read online someone had purchased from them what I wanted. One bit of advice I would give is get the part number you require. This saves a lot of time.

Glad you’re pleased with it. I removed another half link from mine last night. Had it on the smallest setting this morning, mid setting during the day and just put it on maximum adjustment tonight. Perfect fitting bracelet at all times.

Edit: I thought the Omega store at Westfield, Stratford packed up a long while ago?

Glad you you are pleased with yours aswell. Yes got it from beaverbrooks westfield Stratford (Omega boutique) but did it all online so never been to the shop. They did offer to fit for me , but glad I did myself bit fiddly but straight forward. Thought at first maybe should have got the six positions clasp I have 8 inch wrists not helped by being broken. But think this clasp is fine. All the best Paul

Hi
I have also recently bought an SMPc and I’m interested in the micr adjust clasp
I visited both my ADs in York and they both said Omega wouldn’t supply as he wouldn’t fit
Anyone else had the same difficulties with their ADs?

Yes, i also wanted to Order the clasp and all the required links+screews for my 2254.
I had an exact list with part numbers and i asked 2 ADs if they could order them for me.
One AD never replied the other one gave me a call like after 1 month saying that Omega would not provide me with this parts.
So right now i am wearing it on a leather strap! 😉 problem solved 😁

Some Boutiques or AD's will not sell them as they are not meant for other models, but some will order them for you and even help on the installation, so keep looking 😉
