SMP ceramic, screw bracelet clasp mod question

Hi all,

I’m brand new to the Omega family and luxury watches. I just purchased a SMP black ceramic 212.30.41.20.01.003. Seems like it was made for six years starting in 2012. I’m wanting to add the micro adjusting clasp to it but don’t know what I need. I called up Omega and they were little help. I don’t have an Omega store where I live but do have a store that used to be an authorized dealer willing to do the work and order the parts if I can figure out what I need.

I know this question has probably been asked a bunch but as I look through previous forums it’s just a jumble of codes and insider abbreviations to the newbie. I’d appreciate it immensely if someone could let me know what parts (and part numbers) I need to do this mod.

thank y’all in advance!

Assuming your watch is on the 1515/816 Bond bracelet I’m pretty sure you only need the adjustable clasp as your bracelet end links will already ‘match up’. There are 3 versions of the clasp. The most popular one has 6 adjustable positions but no divers extension and is part number O117STZ001154
I have this on my 2220.80 and highly recommend it.

I can confirm this will work, as I did the switch with that clasp on my old ceramic SMP. With that said, if I had to do it again, I’d opt for the smaller 3 position clasp (sorry, don’t know the part number). It’s closer in size to the original clasp. The 6-position clasp is quite a bit longer and I felt it was just a little too big for my wrist. And I rarely adjusted it more than 2 steps anyway.

My new Seamaster 300 Heritage has a 3-position clasp and it is perfect.
