Well burnt!

From the position the hands must have been in for years I suspect it sat in a jewelry store display, either new or used , for quite some time.
The hands are in the classic position to frame the makers name in a V.

I was just thinking about radium- got this guy last week and was shocked at the fact that it still glows just from workbench light....and not dimly mind you! It fades quickly, but holy crap! I can hear the sirens at NORAD going off.
