My watchmaker has worked on multiple watches for me the past few months and he's done an amazing job. As a small thank you, I'm hoping to give him a small gift but was hoping to get some ideas here. I was initially thinking about a book but I recall him having a lot of books on watches so I don't want to get him a duplicate. Any ideas?
I'd definitely think of something not watch related depending on his interests but nothing says I love you like a single #6 endlink
MoonSwatch! Boxes from these places are popular with friends: https://www.wisconsincheeseman.com https://www.ohdanishbakery.com/business-gifts https://www.usinger.com/gifts/ I recommend the latter because they've been making sausages in Milwaukee going on 150 years.
A powerful magnet on a long stick? (Borrowed from a previous post by @Archer, showing Philippe Dufour on the floor looking for a part.)
Have you had any frozen custard yet? I personally do not care for it, but a lot of people do and we're known for it.
I'm in the Chicago burbs. We have alot of frozen custard here too. It's OK - but I prefer real ice cream. Chocolate chip mint is my fav.
If I had floors like that, the gaps between the floorboards would be filled with screws and springs. I agree something non-watch related would be nice. Best I can come up with is a vinyl record you think he'd enjoy, unless you're fairly certain he doesn't own a record player (a gift that requires more investment defeats the purpose). Or a book about something else he's potentially interested in.
Some good gourmet coffee or tea? People who are not into alcohol are usually into at least one of these 2 ( i think..)
