Anyone got their SM300 on the Omega blue strap or rubber? I'm keen to see real life pics but can't decide which I would prefer over the bracelet I have

Some real life pics I found online but I would stick to either the bracelet or NATO. Rubber never does it for me.

I can show you a (light + deep) blue (+ grey) NATO but it's not an Omega one.
I bought the watch in its bracelet version.
Here it is, under different lights:

The omega rubber strap on this watch is amazing - I’d wear the combo with a suit even. If it’s good enough for James Bond to wear with a suit it’s good enough for anyone 😉

And if you want a nato I’d recommend the omega blue one with the silver/grey edges not solid blue.

Let us know which version you buy!

I did try the rubber on at an AD once I remember thinking it felt super comfortable and hardly felt it there compared to the bracelet version but it also sat slightly squarer on my wrist I think. I can't see the rubber is actually aval to order direct from Omega? I can see the nato

They only sell the NATO’s on the website. The rubber you need to order through an AD or OB unfortunately...

I vote NATO.

IMO the blue rubber has a shine to it that makes it look a little...cheap 😬

Anyone have any links to guide on how to swap the bracelet for the rubber? Normally i'd ask the AD to do it but want to be able to change between when I want

I bought the 300M on rubber in October 2018. I really like it but I noticed just this weekend that the floating keeper is tearing! I try to be gentle with the watch but maybe I haven’t been as careful as I thought I’ve been. I contacted OMEGA service but I expect that this may fall under regular wear and tear.

Plenty of tutorials on you tube. Just get a decent tool, and tape the lugs the first few goes and take it slow. It becomes easy after a while. I switch on my speedies and tudors weekly with no issues.

I suspect that may be the case after 2 years unfortunately.

Yeah, it’s too bad. I realize this is why people say to buy the bracelet but I’m just not a bracelet guy. I have had my eye on a NATO strap for over a year so maybe this will just give me the push to get it.

Yeah - the replacement rubber is about £180 quid isn’t it. Maybe get another too as it looks great on that.
