·Hi OF,
I was looking to expand my Omega collection with a less common model/reference.
I was drawn to two models, the Memomatic and Dynamic Geneve, both with blue and white dials (Bullseye).
I opted for the Memomatic for the following reason:
1) Its a Seamaster like 90% of my collection
2) The size was attractive.
3) The alarm function is so cool and interesting
4) The crown and alarm pusher is new.
Case: 166.072
Caliber: 980
Ref #: 33,3xx,xxx
Year: 1971
Paid: USD 500
The watch needs servicing but runs well and the alarm functions BUT cuts out after six seconds.
Do you agree with my choice?
Please note I'll purchase the Dynamic in the future... it was offered for 250.
