Hi,
for me the Sinn 142 is the perfect daily tool watch: rugged an battered but never fails. It also has a bit of airspace history ...

This late sample with superluminova hands and dials shows that even this lume-material is altering with age: the lume looks a bit pinkish nowadays....

Anyone else tempted by the new 156? I've been trying to snag an EZM 1.1S all year, but maybe this would scratch the itch instead?

I love the SZ-01 with the center chronograph minute hand. But at that retail, I would have expected a DIAPAL movement, or at least the anti-humidification system. The EZM 1.1S has the nitrogen gas and sulphur capsule I believe (I know the EZM 1.1 does).

I like the quirks of the EZM 1.1 more. Left-handed crown and pushers, nearly sterile dial, just awesome. But I wouldn’t nudge the 156.1 out of the watch box…

I've loved my Sinn 556i that I bought 3 years ago. Perfect size. H-link bracelet fits perfectly, and I love the tan strap. I end up grabbing it first when going out, despite having a few Omegas to choose from!

Just picked up a 556i with the blue sunburst dial. Take everything you like about the 556i and amp it up a bit. H-link bracelet is great but this has the finelink bracelet with butterfly clasp. Sellitta movement is now the ETA 2824. But the real kickers now are the rhodium plated applied indices and hands. Catch the light, the blue sunburst shows up and the markers give the dial a little bling.

So now my dilemma. I probably (definitely?) someday need to let one of these go. But which one?? The blue seems an upgrade in many ways, but I do like the blacker than black dial along with the cockpit inspired hands and indices of my original.

I say, keep going and get more 😀

Does the inner bezel move on these? A UTC bezel with a central minutes chronograph hand is an awesome tool watch layout.

Nice! I like them on the grey canvas straps too.

No, the chapter ring is static on these, just like it is on Tutima's Military chronograph, the Orfina Porsche Design, or the near identical Arctos Bund, all Lemania 5100 chronographs I had the pleasure of owning at one point in time.

Oh it’s for sure happening. I’m not in a position to pick one up yet, but that’s giving me time to organize my list of what to get. I absolutely love the limited edition one you shared a few posts ago. They have so many good offerings

Yeah, that limited edition 156.1 is driving me nuts at the moment. I want it, but can't shell out for it right now... So, naturally I'm gonna miss out on pre-ordering it and then spend 10% over MSRP when I can actually buy it a year from now 🙃

Where can I find the price or pre order info? I’m curious to see how much I would have to sell to make this happen lol! Realistically, I will be missing out on it as well, but it’s on my list to over pay later on 😁

Anyone want a Mitsukoshi dial/handset and a Seiko MarineMaster? I’m considering doing something drastic 😬 😂
