Thanks, thats the NATO you get in the big box speedy 😀

No wonder it looks so good. Not a good value... But Omega has the best natos I've ever owned.

Anyone here that own both an UX and the newest 42mm iteration of the smp and/or a speedmaster? I am curious of how the UX wears compared to one of those, because I really want an UX, but cannot try one on due to lack of a physical store, so I have to order one from abroad. And I am afraid that my 165mm (flat wrist, about 55m across) is a bit small for the 44mm case… I feel that the smp is comfortable, but I am afraid that the UX wears a lot bigger.

I have a UX and Speedmaster. My wrist is 7.7" (196mm) and more roundish than flat. I wish I could endorse a UX for you, but it might overwhelm your wrist.

My pictures aren't the best, but maybe they'll be helpful.

Thanks for your feedback, how do you feel the speedmaster wears compared to the ux? I am looking at the sdr version, so I hope the black bezel will help “shrink it down”.
I also must admit that even you have much larger wrists than me, on my flat wrist, I think we wear the speedy similarly. But it is of course hard to judge based on pictures with different angles etc. I attached two pictures with my speedy and smp for comparison.

Now that I see your picture, I think you may be able to pull it off. If you haven't purchased one yet, you should consider checking Watchrecon. If you can be patient, you can usually pick one up second hand, relatively new, for quite a savings.

I wanted to replace the original cognac-coloured leather strap on the EZM1.1S with black to match the PVD case -- see post on previous page. The OEM leather strap is excellent quality and cognac leather against a black case looks great but it does limit what colours you can wear compared with more versatile black-on-black. Finally decided on the Hirsch Arne sailcloth performance strap with black buckle and am very happy with the result. Here it is....

That looks awesome! I regret not picking up one of these when they came out.

I've a few EZMs and the 1.1S is on my list, sufficiently different from the original to have it's own 'look' but in essence the same as the original, it's a great update/refresh/homage etc.

Been eyeing this for a while and decided to pick it up while in Singapore for business. Really thrilled with this watch!

Congrats on your purchase! I really like Sinn as a brand.

I'm still enjoying this one...

... but I'm really thinking about picking up an EZM 1.1 or 156 with central minute Chrono hand to go with it.

103 limited edition for me today:

For some reason, I stayed up way too late last night revising my 2024 watch wishlist ... I'm thinking of picking up an EZM 1.1, a 140/142, and/or a 156.

I really want a central minutes chronograph with a timing bezel. Anyone got opinions on any of those models?

Edit: added pictures of the models I'm considering

I have the 1.1 and find it a lot of watch to wear. If I am particularly looking for something that might get knocked, and want a timer, the 1.1 gets the nod. Otherwise, I find myself wearing it for a couple of days and then swapping it out. Of course, that's the whole point, isn't it?

I guess I am suggesting you give that some thought. It's definitely not a show stopper, but above most of my other watches, I notice the weight of the 1.1 when I wear it on the bracelet.

Thanks, I appreciate this! I haven't made up my mind yet, but I think this or one of the other 2 I listed is my big collecting goal for the year. I know that it's a large watch and not going to wow anyone with its finishing, but I really like using my watches as 'mission timers', and I do use them frequently in work and my personal life.

The EZM just seems like a classic, legible design!

You are spot on about Sinn being legible:

Seriously!

This one is on the way out:

Fell out of love with the U50 pro? I see a lot of people that seem to love that variation of the U50.

I never reach for it. I am more into sword hands than the lego style. I thought the specs on it were to my liking, but for some reason, I just haven't warmed up to it.

I love Legos! That must be while I like these hands.

I used to really dislike the syringe style hands on the 103, but I find that you look at most watch designs long enough, you start to find them interesting even if they were initially off-putting.

I hope I don't get in trouble for this but Mom said we had Sinn at home.
