Absolutely not!!! I'm not anti-Rolex.

I admit to being anti- "everything everyone does that is remotely similar to something Rolex did is copying Rolex." Even the Omega Aqua Terra colored dials that came out, admittedly after the Rolex Datejust color dials came out, would have been designed, debated, decided, and scheduled for production before the Rolexes were released. A company the size of Omega doesn't sit around waiting for Rolex and then respond in a week with a similar product. The design zeitgeist of the time is color...

Rolex makes nice watches. No debate. It's just annoying to me when people jump up and say, "Look! this company made a watch with a round dial, a date window, and a three-link bracelet! They're copying Rolex!"
