I still don't get it. Guess I'm old or too time crunched to get it. Gives me a friggin headache! What do we do with this app? I think I already spend too much time on OF!

Take photos of desirable watches, add hashtags of #forsale #vintagewatch, and other descriptions = interested buyers and fellow collectors :>

I'm not even sure that when I start yelling at the kids to get off my lawn that I'll appreciate TT watches, but I guess you should never say never...so I'll say "not bloody likely" instead. :p

If that Tudor had a SS crown, I could live with it, of the three above.

Tell me about it Larry! I'm on IG, hated it for a couple of months, but actually quite enjoying having the contacts- I get to see what incredible stuff my nieces, nephews and there loved ones are up to, it has brought us closer as a result ; global watch nerds (of course); and a gateway back into to a music scene I used to be a lot more involved in.
The idea of "social media" fills me with dread though!

You post and look at pictures. And some trades happen there as well...

I've joined IG only to post watch-related content, because it's much more user friendly than a forum, and it gives you the same "anonymity" (I didn't want to post wristshots on a personal account of some type, regular friends would only see it as showing off).
There is less interaction vs OF for instance, but that's cool, because the two platforms are complementary. I do not know your age, but I'm pretty sure no one is "too old" for it, you just have to try it out for a week and see if it suits you ;)

Friends and relatives immediately found me so tons of holiday pics from around the world. I like that. Starting to figure out the watch business. Gotta say there are some folks out there with watches I can only dream about! Particularly UG!

    That's a cool feedback :)
The issue I have is that I keep on discovering new watches on there, falling for them, and thinking about which kidney to sell for that 2998 with a ghosted bezel

As some have said took me a while to get into insta.
However started following a few of my watch friends , posted a few vintage bits then suddenly I'm being followed, some great pieces being posted and occasionally bits for sale. Win win.
