What is the cost of that strap? It is nice Omega will let you buy them. Big thumbs up against Rolex.

Here you are....seek and yea shall find 😉

Silver Snoopy Strap is $230 and deployment clasp is $230 from Omega AD in March 2018.

I bought the snoopy strap and reused the clasp from my planet ocean rubber strap, the clasp is expensive but quality, mines been used for approx 10 years and still works perfectly.

That makes sense.

Here’s the orange edition of of the Snoopy strap from J-R fitted on an Ultraman. It uses the Omega deployant clasp and has the rubber strap protector and is lined with black leather just like the Snoopy strap. I probably could have requested orange leather but didn’t.
That looks great! Did they require you to specify the stitch colour (e.g. a pantone) or was it sufficient to just say it needs to match Ultraman orange?

I sent them a photo of the watch by email and they matched it.

Nice strap!

Here is mine on the new style deployant clasp. The Omega boutique here in South Korea also gives me a hard time about buckles, citing Omega policy, which I know is bull crap because even different employees of the same store will tell me different things. They can't get their shit together. One employee even told me that he needs the serial number off my watch to make sure the buckle will fit the strap: they really know how to insult your intelligence with that line.

I have come to the conclusion that they give you a hard time because there isn't much money in selling these trinkets to WIS like me, unless I buy a few new watches from them first.

With new Omega watches costing well over 5 grand, when I want to buy 2 pin buckles for about 18 dollars each, I have to jump through the same BS hoops to finally bug the guy enough to have my way.

I had a custom strap made by the company that does the OEM...it was 1/2 the price. Just email them at [email protected]
That's handy to know 👍
Did JR prices go up because I see posts now stating they cost the same as the OEM straps?

Also, not being familiar with the Snoopy/Aston Martin straps or the Omega deployant clasp, I assume they are sized ( longer length) to fit the Omega clasp . Is that correct? Can they be sized to be used with a pin and buckle or more traditional double fold deployant?

Finally, did anyone receive a response back from Rousseau about what their deployant clasp looks like?

I can confirm the prices have gone up. The $230 OEM Snoopy Strap is now $250 with orange stitching and I think would be same with white or any other color. They charge $10 for delivery. The quality is great and turnaround from inquiry to delivery was four weeks. These are NYC prices for US domestic customers. The European offices may be different. Would love to know more about their clasp

EDIT: My strap was made in NYC from the Snoopy stock. It has the rubber guard just like the Snoopy strap. I think they consider it "bespoke" but the individual parts that make up the strap, less the stitching, were all on hand precut and ready-to-go in their studio. The JR person looked at the photo of the Ultraman and its NATO strap that I emailed and JR matched the orange stitching to the orange on the NATO strap.

I also thought this was great value but unsure of what it looks like, I have asked for pictures of the clasp. Will post the reply.
Did you ever receive a response from Rousseau about their deployant clasp?

I hadn’t got round to ordering the strap from JR for my FOIS because the OEM one wouldn’t fit due to the 19mm lugs. However was passing a local boutique (Old Bond Street) and they reccomended the rubber strap from a PO GMT Deep Black. They didn’t have the clasp in stock so walked to the Regent Street boutique and bought it all and was fitted there. It’s slightly different to the snoopy however it’s really similar in the look and a great alternative IMO for the people rocking a FOIS/CK2998 etc.

Looks great, but I don't understand how the strap fits so well. That PO GMT Deep Black rubber strap has a 21mm lug width?? I'm thinking about picking up the 39.5mm PO which has a 19mm lug width, so would be very interested to know if this might magically work for that lug width.

Looks nice! I've always wondered what that strap would look like on a Moonwatch.

Curious about this as well. My best guess is that it was the 39.5mm ceramic PO strap that was fitted as that is a 19mm lug width.

The price I was quoted was £40 for the deployment clasp. Much cheaper than the £180 for the Omega deployment clasp.

Apologies for misleading you as was only passing the information on I was told by the OB, indeed you are correct the Deep Black lug width is 21mm (Edit - Omega website quotes the PO Deep Black at 22mm lug width). The serial number for the strap on the packaging is 032CV2005866. To be honest right now I am not sure what watch this strap was originally intended for, maybe @Archer can chime in and let us know? What I do know is it works really well with the FOIS.

That number comes up with "no results found" so are you sure that's the right number?

Unfortunately that strap doesn't produce any specific watch results for some reason, so the system won't tell me what watch it is from originally.

Just arrived from Bremont. I’m liking the curved ends. Just need to see what the fit is like
