Would anyone like it better without Snoopy on the dial? Asking for a friend.

Itailian market or Japanese panda? Real or modded? There is demand for them.

The Itailian Market white face just featured on Fratello.com is basically that.

Do they just want to know if anyone feels the way that they do? Why does it even matter to them -- will it make them change there mind if you are unable to find someone who agrees? Or are they thinking of buying up a whole bunch, opening the cases, removing the Snoopy, and reselling them for more $? Just curious why they care what others think -- surely in a world of a few billion people there will be some who like it with Snoopy on the dial (and 'get it'), and some who don't.

I'm the complete opposite. I wish it didn't have the thought bubble, 14 seconds writing, or the "What can you do in 14 seconds" with the black boxes. If it was just the Snoopy in the subdial, it'd be perfect in my eyes. So much better without all the clutter. Like the first generation Snoopy which I regretfully sold.

I had the dial but I sold it and went with a Mitsukoshi dial instead. The dial is much more cream in person rather than white and I would have kept it, but someone was relentless trying to get me to sell it. I'd love an Alaska Project but I can't believe the way the price has climbed on those models.

That's fantastic! I would certainly enjoy wearing the hell out of that watch.

That's extremely hot, is there an unique reference number identifying this version?

Hi @Mark22aa
Hi Guys[emoji137] 3583b390569959e1d7a511a4a48e5782.jpg That brand new Silver Snoopy was advertised in the Singapore watch forum 26 weeks ago was up for sale for USD 16 629 /=
- Non Negotiable-

A Malaysian colleague of mine contacted the seller to inquire about the Snoopy after a few days but left frustrated when he was informed that the watch had already been snapped up! He suspected the buyer was from Hong Kong

I dont believe the price will ever drop & a LE Speedy with its Rich History & an amazing provenance will never stabilized because The Sky's the Limit !

Call it Exorbitant , Inflated , Bloated or just plain Vulgar , wealthy horological & non horological Singaporeans & Hong Kong Millionaires dont give a Rat's Ass what you think the price should be....

A Chinese businessman i once met at a lunch talk in a hotel , cast his eyes on my watch & thought i was wearing the JB Spectre but it was actually the regular version with the Original JB Nato Strap . When i told him otherwise , he just nodded & literally
USD 20 K for the "Silver Snoopy " you say ?

Dude ! That's " Peanuts " for affluent Singaporeans or Hongkies !!!

Swiss Luxury watch sales to HK: -31% this year... All over the news a couple of days ago

Absolutely stunning. I wish I never saw it since I can't get over how amazing it looks now! There's one on ebay at the moment, listed in Switzerland for EUR 17,800.00 so it's safe to say I'm not going to pull the trigger on one any time soon.

So here is what I have learned: I did not buy the Snoopy to flip. I bought it to wear and got mine last October (I had to park myself in the Omega boutique and harassed them daily). Because the watch was scarce, the price rocketed to 12-15k. When it hit that price point, casual purchasers decided to sell and the market got flooded. As more inventory came out form Omega (even though there were just over 1900 made) more folks who were buying to own could not resist listing it for sale given where the price was. As it stands now, there are probably 20-30 available out there on Ebay, Chrono, Crown and Caliber and they do not appear to be selling. The price point now is probably 8500-10k US and you would likely need to sell through a trusted seller or be a trusted seller. I think you could still make a tiny profit if you wanted to flip but its not as nuts as it was last year. I think this is a super cool Speedmaster, but its just a Speedmaster. I also agree that the second Omega releases another Snoopy, the prices on these will come down. I still think the price of this watch will remain above retail. Even the 2003 edition which had 5,441 units released is selling in the 4-6k range. I think it retailed for 2500-3k if memory serves.

At $8.5k usd, excellent condition with all B/P, I would buy in a heartbeat. Problem is, even though there are quite a few for sale, they're all still trying to push a $12-16k price point. As much as I would like to add this white dial speedy to my collection, I am personally unable to justify paying such a large premium.
