Silly question on the Speedmaster Moonwatch

I was checking the serial number of my watch against the reference number. Thankfully they match. But I noticed that, unlike the sale promotion photos on the website, my case back is askew. Not perfectly set as the photo. Is that normal, or was it overtightened?

Those are renders on the Omega site, only if they designed the watch with a Naiad lock caseback (Apollo 11 50th anniversary steel) it will be perfectly aligned.

Thank you. It seems odd that a watch made with such precision isn't quite as precise as it should be. hahaha

Screw-on casebacks don't generally have a particular orientation.

Rolex case backs are never off kilter - because they don’t have anything written on them! 😉

Just a drawback with a more decorative case backs.
