The base cal 1030 was used in some of the GMT 6542 as cal 1036 from 1954 to 1959.

A challenge to post a tool watch with a movement more beautiful than the cal 321 in a Speedmaster.

Cal 861 is 2nd.

Parmigiani Rattrapante ca 1999, made in 10 piece edition in white and rose gold with different dials. Movement based on vintage Venus 185, split button located in the winding crown as per tradition. Finished to the normal high standards of Parmigiani.

Cal 561 is pretty auto!

Wow there's a hair or some kind of fiber laying across the rotor. Hope you noticed it and blew it off before closing up.

Optical illusion created by two side-by-side scratches, giving the appearance that one scratch is a reflection of a fiber.

I think.😉

And here's an 8800:

I love the look of the 861/863 also. The 321 with the column wheel just has a tad more appeal, visually, for me. To wear, I choose the 861 because parts are much less problematic.
