Where to begin? How about an AP cal. 2071, one of the finest automatic movements ever produced...

IMHO, Maurice Lacroix makes some of the best looking and best functioning modern movements but for some reason, receives little to no respect from the WIS community. I'd post some nice ML movement pics but predictably, nobody will care!

    tehehehehahaha

neway, here's some other modern watch pRon from another manufacture who gets just a little more respect than ML. A true safe queen:

Here's a generally under-appreciated Revue cal. 81, finished in nickel silver.

Now you make me really curious..... do you mind to share those Maurice Lacroix movements?
ML has less respect because they have way many entry level watch and fashion watch. I know they make some interesting higher end watches, but public perception are not easy to change except with high marketing effort.

You're 100% correct. Maurice Lacroix gets no respect from WIS types because MC doesn't seem to respect their own product.
ML Masterpiece strikes me as the king of the gray market. It takes little effort to find their best pieces @ 80 to 85% discounts off list.

they're like the polar opposite of Rolex. They both create false economies; only in completely opposite directions. ML79 in-house:
