Each of these JLCs were my "favorite watch of all time," at some point. I miss every one of these beautiful watches, as I no longer own most of them. While almost all have found new homes, my Navy SEALs Alarm is one that will never leave the lineup. ;-)

Missing a few here, that I owned over the years. Seeing all of these old photos together is kind of fun. Wish I could afford to keep them all...!

Back in Time in the year 1946 with Jaeger Lecoultre.

Nice watch!

I particularly like that you had your hamster fashioned into a watch strap when he died.😀

That is Good! 😁 I made it myself and I used the Leather from old Coat from my Dad. It is a bottom of the Leather....it looks fancy 😎👍

New arrival ::rimshot::

So its been like 3 months since my last purchase, the Memovox got a lot of wrist time, so i tried not to look too much into sales sections and wanted to take a little break and enjoy what i have accumulated already..

Well it seems the hold back all of a sudden fired back pretty unexpectedly.
This week i was passing by a JLC AD while going for lunchbreak, and saw a nice watch, and all of sudden i had a desire just to try it on.. who knew that this could go wrong.. 😗 at some point i found myself already negotiating the price... 🤦
i know i know everyone advises to buy JLC second hand and save some money. but i managed to get like 10% off the price and a first service for free... so neglected all the "good advice", and here it is Polaris Date ::psy::

Guilty as charged :whipped:
I remember when i saw the press release photos in 2018, i liked it very much, but i dont buy something like this without trying it on first. And it is fairly expensive. Although prices of modern Omega also slowly creep up into this territory.

I pass by this JLC AD a couple of times per week since it is on the way from the office to place where i eat lunch. And it is the first time in four years that i saw it sitting at the window. So i had to go and try it on.
In person it is obviously much nicer than in photos 🙄

Here’s a photo of the pink gold rotor on my JLC Master Ultra Thin Moon. Note how it incorporates the “JL” symbol. The watch is such a masterful synergy of engineering, technology and art that I sometimes forget that it tells the time too! JLC is in a class by itself.
