Hi! I just purchased a Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox Speed Beat off an online auction site. (I have not received it yet.)

Just thought I should get some opinions on condition etc.

What auction said:
Reference no: E 875
Size: ca 37mm.
Movement: Automatic, caliber 916.
Material: steel
Year: ca 1972

It is NOT in working order. "Runs for a couple seconds". I am prepared to put the money down to have it completely serviced obviously.

It does seem a bit too polished right? What's your opinion on that?

Anything else that looks wrong or I should be aware of?

I do have some kind of "buyer protection" if it turns out to be too bad.

How did it turn out?
I have the same watch and serviced it myself. Great movement.

Btw, the case finishing looks good. Still the bruched finish on the sides (often polished away by silly people).
