My noname, Landeron48, beaten up, everyday companion 😀
Cool, plenty of character. What sort of accuracy are you getting in seconds per day?

Inexpensive to me, anyways, perhaps fifty-five dollars all in including purchase price, clean up and new straps....1950s Croton Aquamatic 360EL and 1938 Bulova "Doug Corrigan"....both keep very good time....the Croton may actually be indestructible....

Cheap and very cheerful. You can pop either of these on and totally forget about it.

I don't think I've seen this thread before .... this pair came to £100 or so, before servicing

I'm really starting to love these Smiths watches ... the horned lug pre-de luxes are so friggin cute ... and I'd never seen this dial before.

Bought my Oris Big Crown in my mid teens, 25 years ago from my first savings delivering pizzas, selling sunglasses at the Queens Birthday (Koninginnenacht) and washing dishes at a fish restaurant. The is the one and only watch I would really freak out about if I would ever loose it. I graduated with it from high school and university. It was with me while growing up and it brings back the best memories.

And add a few quid and get a very cool issued fat case cousin from the year of the Falklands😀
