I am aware that the Spaceview has been made available, again. I’ve had a close look at one of these “tribute” Spaceview models. Nothing from a vintage Accutron is interchangeable with this overpriced thing. My understanding is that spares for this thing are not available. Bulova won’t (or can’t) service them, and the watch has to be sent to Citizen in Japan if repairs are required. Not a threat to real Accutron watches. They’ll never be a serious collectible in my view.
Oh...so they're not serviceable by an AD? Double yikes! Well there was no danger of me buying one anyway so I'll gladly stick to my Spaceview 214.

Lots of Spaceviews today. This is mine. Acquired in pieces from a “watchmaker” who could take them apart, but never put them back together! Everything you see is Bulova Accutron, and I fitted a random case back which indicates 1967. Could be! I have everything I need to put together a Spaceview in a steel case. Perhaps sometime.

June 1963.... At least 8 of the 12 X-15 pilots made an X-15 flight wearing a battery-powered tuning fork movement Accutron Astronaut GMT pilot watch on long grey webbing strap! And then we didn't mention Gordon Cooper on Faith 7 & Gemini V , the Gemini III astronauts Virgil Grissom & John Young and Dr Norman Thagard on space shuttle Challenger mission STS-7.

That 24-hour dial with the “0” rather than the “24” was popular with Canadian National Railway (CNR). Don’t see it often.
