(I really have come very late to this f300 party - I should probably have paid much closer attention to these watches)

Finally found one 100th Anniversary Accutron and got it serviced by Robert Berkavicious (an Accutron watchmaker specialist)

I got it from an Israely seller that had acquired a state from a local jeweller. I found this one in NOS condition with box and bracelet. Box and papers were not in great shape, but I was surprised with the watch when I unboxed it.

My Omega f300 hummer

Owned since 2020, and I love it. Just don't what the heck the blue striped death star-like symbol on the dial is 😕

Is/was there an engravement on the back?
Could be a gift to an employer of UCT company.

Nothing there but the generic Omega f300 caseback

Another same f300 was sold on ebay last year. I asked the seller if he knew what the mysterious symbol was/meant, and he said he didn't know either

1971 OMEGA F300 Diver 198.0016

bezel insert was damaged so I removed it. I think it looks cool this way

The very watch that my brother gave to me as a temporary replacement, whilst my 30th birthday present was off being refinished… after I’d taken a tumble off a bike. The very watch that ignited my passion in Omega and that has been worn on my wrist as a daily wearer ever since.

Cool to see the bezel insert intact and complete

I just posted the same watch without the bezel insert above you

Nice piece. Something to do with Argentina maybe?

SMF300 Bezels sometimes crop up for sale here and there, there are currently 3 on eBay, I think in the states last time I checked, all in good condition but the sell wants stupid money for them! If you ever want to pop an acrylic bezel back on it, pop me a DM… if I can find where I’ve put them I have a few SMF300 bezels/ cases/ spares in a box…somewhere.

Why Argentina?
Absolutely no idea. Argentinian flag? If 1973 or 74, World Cup year, this might have been sold as a range of commemorative watches in South America?
