And my Spaceview from 1966:
Do you have a date chart?
I just acquired one I know little about. Pardon the dust.

There will be a serial number on the back. If I recall correctly (and there’s a few fans here with way more knowledge) an M6 would mean 1966. An N1, 1971.

Hi am not sure if they are still available. Yes the bracelet compliments the watch.
Cheers Russell.

Family shot!i
didn’t twig until tonight that the (more rare) Citizen Cosmotron GX (named a Cosmotron even though it’s a hummer) is a day/date whereas the Hisonic appears to be ’date’ only.
Happy for someone to produce a day/date Hisonic.

I picked up this 198.0003 recently because it had a 1168 bracelet I’d been looking for paired with it for some reason. The end links were the correct 617 links that should go with the 1125 bracelet for this reference.

The watch isn’t running, and I had planned to list it on ebay, but once I had it in hand, I found I like it very much 👍.

I’m currently in contact with accutrons.com to get it serviced, and I think I’ll have to work my way through this thread and learn more about these watches.

Maybe this will help:

Hi @sonicosa, how much do they want to service fix such a caliber? And where do you live?
[where I live, they want 400/450€ for a service]

I’m in the US, and this was the info they sent me:

“The basic service for a 218 and 214 and most other tuning fork watches is $265. (The 218 has a setting crown on the side, the 214 has a setting crown on the back). Other watches start at $265 to $365. Add $100 for Chronographs (stop watch). Shipping and battery are $15.

We can also do an estimate prior to work, if desired. Simply add this on a written note included with the watch and your contact information.“

I plan to give their service a try, and I’ll report back with my experience (I’m still making my way through this thread, so not sure if they’ve been discussed already.)
