I think I can safely ask this here without my head getting chewed off... But is it abnormal to really highly dislike virtually every Rolex out there, yet considering the 39mm 214270 Explorer to be one of the greatest watch designs of all times?

I’m a heathen with large wrists, and I love the current Explorer I (214270 mk 2). I know many here hold differing opinions, but anything smaller than 39 mm looks small on my wrists.

The dial of this model, past and present, is absolutely classic, and it can be dressed up or down with different straps.

Am I the only one who is hoping for a 44 mm Explorer and a 45 > mm Explorer 2 to be produced?

Mine from a couple of days ago whilst moving into a new studio. I love how a date window can be a bit of a reminder into what was going on in life when the wrist shot was taken.

Mk1 here

It is amazing how the minute hand blends in to the white gold numeral.

Nice 1016, I have only encountered one gilt explorer. I bet yours looks much better in person than picture.

So you don't like my picture 🙁 😁 I have to admit the watch looks even better in the metal 👍
