Appreciate this thread.

Was looking for something similar to this (inherited from Grandfather). Am I to assume the numerals are Rose Gold? Other?

Finally managed to add a cal. 352 2577 to the bunch. That blued second hands makes such a difference in appearance:

Another stunning example, Matt. Congrats.

I recently acquired this in a trade.
Now according to this thread the case is not correct to the serial number. But I have noticed something else that might be an explanation. The caseback is signed hf. Which as omega enthousiasts is an all too familiar case maker. Now the other later 2577's with the same case seem to have a star on the inside of the caseback instead of the huguenin freres mark.

What do you guys think. Either way I still love the look of the watch.

Regardless of the case manufacturer, I haven't seen a 13.09m serial movement in a bevelled, fat lug 2577 case. But my list is only a collection of info, I'll safe this and see if more come up. 😀 Yours has an incorrect second hand and crown, but I like the color of the dial. Enjoy it! 😀

Another chronometer certified 2577 has arrived today. RG capped, a few arrowhead indices sprinkled in there… love this configuration!

😲🥰,Thanks Matt, but how are you doing all this? A wonderful composition (er, dibs?). Even the minute markers bring interest!

Haha, thanks! And yes, forgot to mention the markers! Funky little detail.
With the ref. 2577 I just feel like I’ve found a rabbit hole that keeps me absolutely fascinated, the variety is uncanny. And I’m very thankful that a few very kind and helpful OF users occasionally point me towards nice examples, as in this case. 😀

And sometimes, the hunt turns out a good result, too. I think I also haven’t added this one, badly described and not exactly great pics from a small British auction house:

Also rose-gold-capped!

Nice one Matts.

You’re the 4th examples that I found using these
“T T T” minute markers.

Greg. I really like you. But you do need to get a better camera at some point. 😁

This is a particularly nice example. Did I say dibs?

I actually have a really nice Pentax DSLR. I’m just too lazy to use it! And my new iPhone 14 Pro really takes lousy photos. Not money well spent! 😡 The watch is actually gorgeous.

In this case I think the lightning/focus is the problem, that beauty really deserves a outdoor daylight picture with focus 😀

My iphone 12 mini does not have a great camera but in good conditions the photos actually gets pretty detailed:

(sorry for posting non-2577 material, but I don't have any 2577 atm 🙁)

I will try that and, if successful, repost. I am reading that the problem with the iPhone 14 series camera is a known issue and that Apple is working on a fix in IOS.

This is my first post here on OF, so be gentle!

I really appreciate this thread, it actually helped my a lot while researching my latest purchase. Thus, I thought I'd show my appreciation and share my beautiful 2577-12SC, Cal. 354, from with I believe to be 1952. Serial number is 13.9m.
