Hi All I'm new here, found this thread while researching a 2577 I found in a junk lot of watches I purchased. Needs a bit of work but thought I would share a couple of pics. It will be going to my watchmaker in the new year to be fixed up and serviced
Thanks for sharing. For sure a bit of work! Curious on the case back; no reason to doubt but must admit I do nor recall to have seen such style of the 2577 numbering…would typically have a follow up number ”2577-x”. Anyone that can comment? This almost looks like some ”denison” cases I have seen on other refs

Hallo friends, I am really impressed by these nice watches and the great variety of dials...
But is there a date version in this 25xx line with cal 353?
Or is the ref 2627 the earliest with date?
(Here is mine with mvt. 353 and #12.581yyy of 1950, I learned here, the crown is not correct)

I hope, that no one of you friends of the ref 2577 bothers about my search for a "Calendar sister of the ref 2577" in this thread.
Here I found ref 2598, but the dial is not marked Seamaster and I have no picture from the back (gold filled and bad shape).
At least I am searching for the earliest Seamaster automatic with date indication. Is it the 2598 with cal 353?
