Here another variant of the Seamaster 22XX series: 150th anniversary SMP titanium 2232.30.00 with the non AC dial (2230.50.00) 18K white gold bezel insert (instead of the shiny 18K white gold bezel it came with):

Here now the 150th SMP Ti (2232.30) with non AC (2230.50) dial and bezel insert, plus PO second sweep hand on Snoopy cordura band

Ok, I am not a fan of mods in general but love the PO second hand swap! 👍 The more sword hands the better IMO. Here’s my 2254

@140dave it's refreshing to see a normally worn example ! Mine also has nicks and dents from daily usage and I opted not to polish them out as I've been through alot with mine and still know where some came from. A lot of watches on this and every other forum look pristine most of the time. And I get it we're part of the small group who actually care about are watches and baby them, but still

Yes, it’s my daily wearer and pretty much why I don’t buy really nice watches ‘cause I can’t be trusted not to wear em on the farm. 😉 I tried beaters but they just sit in the drawer and I keep wearing my trusty 2254 instead. Hopefully someone in my family will like an “honest” watch someday as I’m lowering the resale daily. 🤦

Is this rubber strap the Planet Ocean style? or made for the Seamaster?

It does not have the P.O. markings, just Omega/Seamaster. Honestly not 100% sure which it was designed for but AD suggested it and it fits the 2254 really nicely. Part is OME-98000086

for the life of me, I couldn’t get that rubber strap on mine, no matter how hard I tried.

yeah, its not an easy swap. i already put it on and off like 20 times, and am getting better at it, because i already know where i have to push the springbar to help enter the lug hole.
you actually have to force it into the hole, it wont just slip in because its off by 1 millimeter or so.

Is that for the latest models? Either way it looks superb and tempted to get one for my Great White. Any chance of some more pics?
