Should I buy it? Omega SMPc 300m gray dial

It looks like a great deal. StockX talks a big game about authenticity. A follow up if/after you buy would be awesome.
Update is I purchased it and they took a little off for the trouble. Where are the bests posts on the SMPc in general and on straps?

I have the grey dial and love it. It was the model I had targeted before going to the AD for purchase, and I must say I was sorely tempted by the black/sedna combo upon seeing it in person.

The grey dial can be a bit overwhelmed on the bracelet, but on the blue rubber it absolutely pops! It's also one of the most comfortable straps I've ever worn. You will love it.

If you use the search feature on OF, you’ll find multiple threads on both topics.

Thanks for the opinions. Received today and looks like it’s not been touched and has a WatchMaxx warranty card stamp dated September 1 in it (not fully completed). This may explain why the warranty card was removed and WatchMaxx was cutting down on some inventory. Has anyone purchased from them before? Looks like you cannot get the original warranty from them but they offer a two year warranty.

I did check with Omega and can purchase the strap with buckle for $300.

It's probably new. WatchMaxx is a grey market dealer and it is common for them to not have the original warranty. I would also consider their (along with any other grey dealer) warranty worthless.

Agreed. Well, I don’t even have their warranty I’m sure technically. At least the lack of warranty card is partially explained.

For the blue rubber band, there are some very good ones on Etsy for $100 or could go with the OEM. If I ever did decide to sell and went with non-OEM, I’d of course disclose that. Is the OEM worth paying 3x as much?

The grey dial is my favourite variant I think. Congrats on getting a bargain.

As I said, I find it to be an excellent strap and was very happy to pay that amount.

IG and OF are great places for strap and bracelet photos. There are TONS on strap manufacturers on IG trying to sell their wares.

Great price! The rubber is super comfortable and looks best on this model.

I think the rubber oem is worth it in this case. You got a good deal on the watch itself. I've bought a watch directly from them before, went fine.

This is adapted from advice on cars that one of my friends always says:
“If you are buying the watch, the price is always right for you.
If you are buying the price, the watch isn’t always right for you.”

I concede it’s a damn nice watch. But based on your comment that you prefer blue, I’d pass if in your situation.
