    hi,

after searching for some years i couldn´t find a nicer one. It seems if there are few of them with untouched dials...
    Small but nice?!?

Be careful! It is a French case, not made in Sitzerland! So only buy it if it is cheap...

yes, they do cost less... because collectors like to buy "entirely swiss made" Omegas

I personally buy them as there are some beautiful references out there (and mostly pink gold) but I also try to pay less - this is the market ;)

@mac_omega is correct about french cases but there are so few of these cosmic TDMPs with a reasonable dial and for me that is the priority for these watches with the type of case being secondary.

I wouldn't have any issue with a French case at all. The dial and movement quality are my main concerns.
Pardon the noob question, but which markings are you using to identify this as a French case?

Fab Suisse in the movement (and in other models also on the dial) and the inner caseback markings particularly the old style omega logo (not used in swiss cases for decades by the time this watch was released.

Here's an example of a 14k swiss case TDMP - almost NOS in condition:

Thank you all. I´ll have to learn what a TDMP is, but it seems to be ok to buy it.

So presumably UK made cases are worth less too? Worth more, less, about the same as French ones?

Apologies if a silly question, just interested...

To me, Swiss movement + Swiss case is always the best choice.
