I love Christmas. The best thing my wife and I decided to do was not to bother with Christmas at all. We don't buy gifts and we eat whatever we have in the house. We spend time together and enjoy the peace and quiet. This year we are visiting our respective families so it's s bit more chrismacy than usual but still stress free. Well for me anyway, she has 7 brothers and 3 sisters plus their families all visiting her parents for Christmas.

We do the same, except we have friends who host a Xmas-eve party (every year for 25 years) and there is always the gifts part that can be uncomfortable. One year the host said no gifts and only half of us listened….awwwwkwwaaard!
