Shipping from USA (NY) to Canada (Toronto)

Hey all!
I am wondering how you guys normally ship your watches across the border from USA to Canada-
Which shipping service do you recommend?
How does the customs fee work? And is it “recommended” to declare the true value of the watch?
I apologize for all the questions I just wanted to hear how other people went about shipping their watches.

if you’re close to the border, drive over and then ship it. When I lived there UPS was the worst for incoming packages. Always declare full value

Depends on value of watch. Anything over $1000 I use FedEx and under $1000 Canada post/USPS. When using Canada post/USPS I usually don’t get customs.
