As you can see from my number of posts, I am new here
I would like to purchase a vintage watch from an established forum member for shipment from the EU to the USA
Value of the watch is approx. $1,300 US
Should I factor any additional costs into my end of the transaction if the seller is willing to pay shipping
** the wire is a service provided for me free of charge by my bank - is there an exchange rate charge added by the US Bank? I heard 2%?
** customs/tariff due to declared value for shipping?
    Thanks.

Yes, in principle there is an import duty. It's a bit difficult to predict how much it will be. You should ask your bank about the exchange rate.

If shipped correctly, and by this I mean insured for full value, you will get a bill From Fedex after being contacted to fill out a watch form, or pay upon pickup from DHL ... under $150 ....
