I have been looking for a setting lever spring for a caliber 552 and most sellers also advertise them as 562 or even a 563. I believe the difference is that there is a datewheel in the latter. I would have cross referenced this information with ranft website when site was around to see compatibility .

For those more familiar with a list of compatibility, would I be correct with the information to say that it is compatible with the following calibers ;
550 551 552 560 561 562 563 564 565 750 751 752 ?
thanks in advance

No - there are two versions. One with 2 notches in it, for all no date versions, and for early date versions. Once you get to the later versions the date has a quick set, and a different part with 3 notches is required.

So 550-1110 is for the following...

550, 551, 552, 560, 600, 601, 602, 610, 611

The 563-1110 is for the following...

563, 564, 565, 613, 750, 751, 752

Thank you!!!! just the answer I was seeking!! My next question was going to be about the 2 and 3 notches and you have answered it before I even got to ask it !!! The seller was trying to sell me one with 3 notches for my 552 claiming that it would work just the same, Saved me from this small costly mistake!

Cousins.co.uk offers a nice spec sheet look-up service;
https://www.cousinsuk.com/document/category/omega-movement-parts

"omega 552" search returns;
https://www.cousinsuk.com/PDF/categories/365_Omega 552 NewLR.pdf

And this shows the 2-notch part you need for the 552;
