I love my 7A28-7070, had it for 32 years, just bought a new (NOS) bracelet, I posted earlier in this thread, and was mentioning how I haven't seen as many 7A28's as I though I would. They are very cool watches, so accurate, 1/10th sec on the stopwatch, very waterproof....and quite slim and light to wear.... I do like this Mercedes one you have, look really smart.
I was looking for a new beater watch for an upcoming vacation and decided on this beautiful Seiko SNA411 Flight. Own a lot of Seikos, but this has to be my new favorite. The quality has always impressed me with Seiko and this one doesn't disappoint. The bezel has to be one of the smoothest I have ever turned. It came with a nice stainless bracelet but went with one of my Omega Nato straps while I wait for a custom leather one. All in all very pleased with it, my poor pics don't do it justice.
Bought 5 of them in the last 18 months 2 from the forum, by far the favourite this SBDC 053 and I have have a 065 cocktail which is also super accurate. Seiko 6r variant movements are a massive bang for the buck.
And this little old Sea horse is off to my watch Doctor in the morning , needs a good going over as setting the time & date is not that easy these days . And to be fair who doesn't need some TLC after 54 yrs of service .
Seiko makes a model with an almost ugly orange dial that sticks out so nicely. I saw one in one of the watch drops I belong to, it’s a smaller version about 38mm I would have grabbed it but it went quick. I’m really impressed with these seikos you guys and girls are showing. I’ve always overlooked them or only pick a nice looking quartz watch. I pledge to pick up one of these ugly orange dials, it’s so damn unique it makes ugly beautiful.
Yeah I almost ordered one tonight but I only see them in 43mm. I think that might be a little too big but I love the color on this watch
