I was not really happy with the rubber strap that come as as standard with these Seiko's, but now that I've added the aftermarket super engineer bracelet the watch gives me a lot of pleasure each time I wear it.
First Seiko for me. Not all original, but it looks cool! Seiko dealer made it waterproof again. New nato strap, so ready for actual usage
This one is sadly now gone, but it just shows Seiko can put a lot of tech in a watch and charge a fair price for it.
Just joined the Seiko club! Picked up this Samurai Pepsi as a daily beater during a recent business trip. Love the case with modern / industrial / sharp Japanese lines. Dial texture, hands and hour markers quite impressive at this price point. Fun watch, pretty accurate +7s / day, hacking and date set movement + very comfortable strap. Seiko lume is indeed fantastic, dropped my Rolex Explorer II to 2nd place in the lume wars in my watch collection! Really outstanding value for money at US$280, purchased from Amazon US!
having owned everything from Patek, AP Rolex etc, (I still do own many) I'm a proud owner of many great Seiko's. under rated watches in all price points. this MM1000 is my fav. single watch!
Wow I love the styling. The various contrasting colors really set everything off and make it easy to read.
