I'm sure I read somewhere that the first quartz watches with chronographs, actually used a quartz movement to tell the time but a mechanical chronograph movement bolted on top...

Hi, All. Here's one of my Seiko's, I got this fairly recent on a car boot sale. It works great I bought a new Seiko strap for it off the bay. Watch cost £8.00 strap £10.00 total £18.00 I couldn't go wrong. Second best watch I have bought. On the case base is 5M62-OBLO Just love it!!! Joe.

The quality and precision on these Grand Seikos are outstanding and are visible in the dial and case as well as the movement I'm sure. What is the price range for these?
Nearly 40 yrs later and the electronics and lcd of this '78 are still functioning flawlessly. That's some impressive engineering.
