A couple of 1969 Seiko 6117 6410 Navigator Timers from 1969 with one on the original bracelet. Both case backs and dials state "Water Proof" which had to be removed from later watches as it fell foul of legislation. The watch on the strap has replacement hands but I still have the originals 24 hour dials split into red and blue to indicate day and night with the red arrow used for the second time zone

Seiko brochure details below

@JimInOz What is this? Love the simplicity, it's a gorgeous looking piece.

It's one of the JDM SARG series, a SARG015. I saw one on here recently, maybe a SARG017 (Marty, @kingsrider was it you?)

The blue dial and bezel are almost black in some light and deep blue in other situations. It looks much nicer than expected and has a 23 jewel movement. Some more info here:

SARG013. I wish the 013 had the red tipped second hand, but I still love this watch. Get one while you can. Price has gone up and availability has gone down. One advantage to the SARG013 is it comes with a nice SS bracelet.

Thank you both, I really like the look of the 015 with the blue dial and the red tip...amazing how small details make a difference.

I managed to find one on the bay in Germany. I'm in the UK so this won't be an issue.

Very tempting....seller has two if anyone else is interested. Don't go buying 'em both though. 😀

I am seriously looking for a new Seiko.

I do not want something that resembles a Sub, Explorer, Omega this or that.

Really struggling to find something I like.

If you are considering a dressier watch, I suggest the presage sarx019 or sarx027. They are nice looking and have enameled dials.

Hard to go wrong with the Grand and for value vintage the King Seiko is tough to beat.
