Mail man lost my turtle that was sent out for servicing! Kick in the gut is the fact that the watch was only going to the city next door but instead, the mail man somehow delivered it to an Amazon warehouse....seems like a simple task of just recovering it but for some reason it has taken more than two weeks for them to do so 😡

Anyways, some happy news, new shroud for my tuna solar 👍

My Seiko Orange Monster and my SKX011, with well over 500 dives between them have been my workhorses for nearly 2 decades.
I love those orange dials. Haven’t come across one yet but they are definitely on my list, unfortunately that list grows everyday

Update on this. I missed the 6105 I gave my brother and ended up buying myself another one. 😁

My collection of the classics - 6217 (untouched), 6105 (dial and hands relumed), 6306 (hands relumed).

Also a modern TransOcean that I got before I became more interested in the older models - has a beautiful textured dial and ceramic bezel, to me would be near perfect if it had proper lugs!

Catching the morning sun (sla021):

It is for me the best looking diver on the market right now... and no "limited edition" BS either, it does not hurt do be able to walk in a boutique, try it a few times and walk out with it when you really feel like it. Just a well made watch, no FOMO marketing pseudo hype trying to force your hand.

How about this Turtle SRPC49? The PVD coating is done incredibly well: matte on the top of the lugs, glossy on the sides of the case. Limited edition, released in 2018 😀

I owned that watch for a while (the JDM version). Flipped it to purchase another German watch, but those 62MAS reinterpretations, sure are nice.
