Seiko 8b92 Movement

Hello all,
I found a nice Seiko salesman's sample with no movement. I was wondering if there were any watchmakers on here with a Seiko parts account that could order the Cal. 8b92 movement for me, or point me in the right direction on who to contact to get one. If you are willing, please respond by PM. I did a pretty extensive eBay search and donor watches were outside my budget. I could not find any used movements for it either.

You might have better luck sending the case to Seiko to see whether a- they have the movement, and b-will supply it for you. This would only be an option if cost was no object (which sounds unlikely.)

Don’t tell anyone but I am a Pats fan. I think it looks kinda cool. It is not $500 cool though. I am on a tangent looking ar salesmen’s samples. At least it is not an Invicta. It is more an exercise to see what it will cost. I got a Seiko for my step mom I found a perfect salesman’s sample and am doing a movement swap for dirt cheap. Just wanted to see what else is out there.
