I thought I would keep this one but needs must and the new workshop will require some additional funds...
For sale is a very good condition Seiko 5719 Monopusher with bakelite bezel and silver sunburst dial.
This is the very first Seiko Chronograph so one could say a watch with a lot of collectors potential. Not to mention the cool looks 😉
The size is between 37-38mm. The case looks and feels unpolished. Dial has some ageing and a small what to appears to be a scratch just under the 10 o clock marker. But its very unobtrusive...
I never had it open but on the inside there should be the Cal 5717.
Crystal has some small marks but nothing serious.
I dont have any service history so if you want to have this as a daily wear, a service would be recommended. Otherwise it is running well. It has never stopped on me and the chrono works and resets as it should.
The caseback seems to be unpolished too but i noticed 2 smaller cracks on the edge. Not too serious IMO, but need to mention it to be fair.
I would like to get 1200 EUR for this one. Payment via BT or Paypal. I am located in the EU but I have no problem shipping it anywhere in the world.
Returns only if I have misrepresented the condition of the watch.
Any questions, please ask 😉

Nice looking piece. I’m a little confused about the function, though: the chrono just measures up to 60 second times?

Originally released to commemorate the Tokyo Olympics in 1964, where Seiko was the official timer. You can use the rotating bezel to accumulate minutes by aligning it with the minute hand.
