The movement looks real bad/dirty and the lume on the hands looks a little too good. Not to mention no “T” tritium indication on the dial 😒

Seems fishy because it is fishy. Don't get hooked on a shameless redial as I was.

Shoot really eh!?!
What gives it away so quickly? In order to further my education. Thanks!

That style of dial never appeared on an Omega having a 601 movement just as it didn't appear on any Omega with a 520 movement such as mine is. Omega produced dials are better finished than either your find or my watch.

Mine's an Ebay purchase from 2014, not tool long before I joined Omega Forums and learned better. It was only a little over $200 at the time so wasn't so punishing as your find would be if purchased.

Technically all Seamaster's are fishy since there are a lot of fish in the sea 🤦

Looks like a Geneve case...
I was thinking that too. It's easy to get so caught up in evaluating the dial that one is missing that a Seamaster 600 should not be in that case. At least as far as I am aware of.

Exactly right. Looks like a 135.041 which is powered by a 601 movement. And this 601 is rough my friend.

It is the first step being able to identify the absolute trash watches.
