I am new to the forum and read the thread on vintage buckles, but am still struggling to find one. Any recommendations for where I can find an authentic Constellation buckle in NYC or online? I don't trust eBay has genuine buckles... Thank you!
Asked before and my answer echos past posts...... What material/color? Many are looking, so, you'll have plenty of competition when one pops up. Welcome to the Forum Post some pictures of your Omega Mine from yesterday's posting Good Luck I'd start by contacting older watchmakers and scouring Estate Sales of retired/deceased watchmakers.
@TexOmega would this type of buckle be period correct for ref. 2887, or one with thicker Omega logo? Thanks in advance!
Contact an Omega Boutique https://omegaforums.net/threads/about-omega-buckles.37347/page-32#post-1772987 It may not be an “original” but at least it was made by Omega (or a contractor). gatorcpa
I like the examples with the sleeker Omega symbol for my 1950's models the best. But they are few and far between, so I use both styles.
