Seeking advice on a vintage Omega restoration project

Dear all,
I recently found this Omega in my grandfather's house and I’m looking for some help with its identification.
It measures larger than typical watches from that era, so I suspect it might be a 'Jumbo' configuration (possibly a ref. 2505 or similar).
The dial is beyond 'patina' and is actually flaking/heavily damaged. I am considering a high-quality redial to make it wearable again.
Any information on the reference or movement would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you and best regards

You are also missing the bezel, one applied dial marker, and the hands are wrong. Is it running? Can you remove the back and show photos of the inside? Buying a parts watch would be a good option for you.

Yes, you'll need a donor watch for the parts. The case reference, inside the back, would be a big help. And I'm definitely curious as to how the movement looks, as I expect moisture intrusion.
