Thank you all. I am going to find myself first a 166.002 and a new stem and case clamps.

If anybody knows a place where to find a 166.020, please let me know! I still do not have the clearance to post something in that section of the forum.

You still can put that combination into a 166.002/166.010 but you have grind the rim of the dial to make it smaller.

Because of the virus the 166.002 could not be shipped but I now found the 165.020. Will post when the project is finished!

I don't want to appear disheartening but, a 165.020 case is for a no date calibre 552.

You have a calibre 562 which is thicker than a 552 by about 0.5 mm. All of that extra thickness is on the dial side and it's because of the date ring. So, if you try to fit a 562 into a case for a 552 you will have issues with fitting the crystal. Possibly other issues but, that's the most obvious.

Good luck, Chris

I hope you are not correct. I found the 166.020 both with Omega as well as on a lot of postings......

edit: MY MISTAKE. I see I made a typo! I indeed ordered the 166.020 not the 165.020. Pffff....

I however see I need something else. There is this ring in the front loader. Can anybody tell me what the name of this ring is. It is my first front loader and I understand that the movement “clicks” in this ring?

since this is the one I bought:
