Recently purchased this ladymatic and I am looking for any information about it. Cal 455, Case reference is 2978-SC. I have about 8 months of watchmaking experience but am not comfortable enough to work on this something this size yet. It is running and I was planning on removing the movement from the case to clean the case for now. However when I went to remove the movement it simply would not come out. I removed the stem and two movement screws but the movement still wouldn’t come out. I could not remove the bezel but was able to remove the crystal with a lift. Anyone

It appears that the two movement screws hold the movement in the case from the front, therefore you need to remove the bezel to allow the movement/dial/hands to be removed.

There should be a slight gap somewhere in the perimeter of the bezel to allow you get a blade or case knife to start lifting the bezel. Don't lever it up, just keep going around the bezel using the blade as a wedge, use a thicker blade when you have enough gap.
