I have one of these beautys but mine is in pretty bad shape...馃檨
Unfortunately I don't have the money to make it look as new again
and I think it's a shame to keep it in my drawer.
So, I think I'm gonna sell it...

They're a cool watch, is it running and/or keeping good time?

It's running but there is a malfunction which can easily be fixed.
The minute's hand is a little loose and a good technician told me that something must be tighten (I can't recall the techical terms he used),
- nothing needs to be replaced - but this should be preformed by omega service, together with the full restoration of the clock.
As I said, I can't afford to restore the clock at this time - I live at Greece 馃檨 -.

I had a loose hand on mine too, it was $35 to fix, you should be able to find a watchmaker that can service it for around 300-350 euro.

Nice write-up with really good information. I love these watches. The dial just screams......check me out! This is a great forum and thank you to "Uncle Buck" for sharing the post with me. OK, so I am about 3 years late here................but here is my 145.016. I guess a good post never dies!

Who knows what bracelet I can put on this one? I have the 549 links but cant find a 1117 bracelet. I tried the 1171 from Ofrei but its not compatible. Are there 22mm links that are compatible with the 1171 for this watch? All help appreciated

I really like that dial and the overall vintage look.
It has a newer service replacement dial, not the vintage one.

The minute hand is wrong, not for this watch. It's thinner, too long and may scratch the inner bezel any time. The orange time telling hands should normally go with the black/grey dial. White dial usually has the black time indicating hands set.

Also, the dial doesn't look centered, likely because some movement spacer/retainer ring or spring is missing. If you pull out the crown, does the dial move as well?

Thanks TNT
I suspected the watch was a mixed bag of parts. When I got it the bezel crown had a hatched design which I had replaced with an Omega one. The second hand is clear of any obstruction. I dont know if the picture shows? Yes the dial moves when the crown is pulled out. Check out the other pix and feel free to comment. Thanks

I mentioned the minute hand that is wrong, not the chrono sencond hand.

Yes the dial moves when the crown is pulled out.
This confirms the missing part or parts I mentioned. The movement is not being held by the proper parts at the moment. Do you have pictures of the inside?

That's an absolute franken, its not even a genuine Omega movement, just one of the other off brand Lemania movements that someone has tried to fake into an Omega Cal 861 by adding an Omega bridge to it, but they didn't even get that right as its a Cal 1861 bridge...

That's all sorts of trouble in there.
