Seamaster linen dial

On the theme of been attracted to the unusual, I came across the following linen dialed seamaster. I think it's an attractive watch and the crosshair sub dial adds to the kerb appeal. Other than the soft edges on the lugs where it's obviously been well polished, I don't seen any other issues with my amateur eye. I accept the original BOD is attractive but wonder if a good quality leather band would do the linen dial more justice?

It's been offered for around the £1k mark which is currently too rich for me, but I thought it might be of interest to fellow members? I'd rather the experts cast an eye over it rather than post in the recommended watches thread without the expertise to do so.

Personally I think the dial is filthy. I'd pass unless it can be easily cleaned up.

Filthy and a redial. Even I could write OMEGA Seamaster better than that. Move away!

If you're looking to get an eye for good examples of Omegas with dial textures you should start by looking through all the older threads on OF rather than sellers listings from elsewhere. There are plenty of great examples from members like @qazwsx1 and @MtV to just name a few 👍
