·You could consider this an opportunity to resurrect a classic Peter Blake if it has meaning to you. Send it to Omega, get an estimate for as complete a restoration as they can manage, then decide. It has had one life cycle, apparently serverd hard & well, now you get to decide if the cost/value ratio will let it serve you for a second life cycle. It's an Omega, it's classic. Probably cost more than it's worth to restore. Personally, I like to rescue things and make them functional and beautiful again, sometimes it's borderline irrational, but if you can afford it, I'd say do it, I'd probably leave the initials on the back as a reminder of its journey.
