Hi,
Welcome to the forum. I am no expert but from what I have read ( mostly from ads) it usually weighs about 30 gms plus. The c cases, it seems to me, tend to be heavier than other styles.
From what I have seen they were a 70’s style ( came out in the 60s) and commonly came with “bricks“ style bracelets.
There are entire threads dedicated to c cases in the forum and experts concentrating their collections on them. They will be able to give more accurate information. Also the information to date them exactly is inside and an opened up photo will help.
lovely watch and wear in good health.

It is solid gold, I recognize the stamp.

Here are some fotos of my 18k cosmic on a solid gold mesh strap and on a thicker leather strap (both third party)
I hope that helps.

Have a nice day.

Hi again
The reason for all the questions, is that i leaved it for service and when i got it back the guy in the service place said i weigt 25gr, i first didnt think about how light it was when i got it back, but when i got home i started feel that something was wrong!
Especially when i compared it to my omega geneve 18k, their was almost no difference, as it was before i left them both for service.
When you look at Tekarun's pictures, you can see that it should weigt somewhere around 30g, just the boett
i'am new at this clock thing and i'am worried that i got the wrong watch or wrong boett or something else....
But thanks for all your help, i will let another watchmaker look at it, i hope that i'am wrong and all is ok

You should have requested a photo of the case-inside at the watchmaker.
It is the only real way to find out if it is 18k.
Furthermore a photo of the serial number also would have been nice, to track down the exact year of production (serialnr is on the movement).

It is super annoying, complicated and also risky to open these watches at the crystall, the less you try the better.

Hi
i got a photo from the inside, but i wasn't present when he opend it,thats my mistake, also i could have wieghed it my self, so the question still remains about the weight at 25 gram.
It should have the same weight as your boett.
maybe is just a mistake, i'll will go and se watchmaker and ask him to open it, i feel i can't just let that go!
To be continued.....
Thanks for all the help

Mysterious... I hope that the 5-6g did not get polished off. 🙁
However, that would be approx 20% of the case.. which is unlikely.

I love that watch. 🥰

In case of polishing, you can tell best in checking the case back and the edges of the watch.
Got more pictures?

Yours has just been worn, mine did just sleep in a drawer for decades. For me it is important that there is no polishing, and I have already seen 18k Cosmics polished to death, no indication of any letters on the case back, ugly edges. etc.

Love your dial (which has certainly not been changed), and still.. a 18k Cosmic is rather rare.

Also check your crystal, I hope your watchmaker used a legit one (if changed). You can tell by the Omega logo in the middle.
Let me try if I can show you...
.. I think you can see it on those pictures.
