Hello everyone I never thought that I would ever own an Omega watch, let alone looking at getting my second one a birth year 1967. I always loved the look of the red boxes with the gold emblem when I would see them in the window of the, jewellers when I was a young child always thought they looked classy & expensive.
Anyhow for some reason I was looking through eBay for a watch a month ago and typed in Omega, price low to high and was amazed at what came back and found out that I could own one or more.
I was looking for a 1967 (birth year) but I was drawn to a 1971 Seamaster Cosmic, which had been, presented to someone for 25 years loyal service. I mulled it over & the following morning I bought it & when it arrived I bought, a new Omega strap and it's been my daily wearer since.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the into. Nice watch, and I like it with that strap. FYI, equal or better straps are available at a fraction of the price. There is a. If thread with recommendations.

A nice, enthusiastic vintage Omega first post! Make the Omega Forums day a bif brighter. It beats the livin' hooey out of "Recent Omega Negativity" whinging.

An appealing example of an Omega Cosmic you picked up, especially on that strap you chose. It's fun to wear all vintage watches, all the time.

Welcome to you! Thanks for joining!

Very nice watch, especially on the green strap. Green and yellow gold is a winning combi in my opinion 👍

Welcome! Nice watch. Stick around, but be aware that doing that is highly correlated with buying more watches!

Thank you for the welcome to this forum, the strap it came with was a green Condor I've kept it as a spare.
I;m really enjoying owning & wearing this watch and the whole quality of it, considering it's 55 years old and working perfectly is a testament to those who made it back in 1971.
